Mulberry Chronicles is inspired by women’s street style originating in Harajuku, Japan with a focus on sustainable design practices and production. As Senior Graphic Designer, I managed a brand and garnered a loyal online following, delivering a future forward visual identity and communication designs for an international market.
My work on the label involved conceptualising collections, illustrating and designing yardage and placement patterns, textiles, garments and accessories and seeing them through to production. Running an online store involved creating marketing graphics and copy with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign for Mailchimp EDMs and social media which enhanced product sales.
Mulberry Chronicles saw pop-up shops at Japanese culture conventions in Melbourne, Sydney, Portland (USA) and London which involved visual merchandising of selling booths with my original POS displays. Running the store and label was an absolute delight and a true passion project turned career.
